the psychedelic toad NFT

This NFT collection was created to help end the stigma behind psychedelics, which are now being accepted as a form of therapy for mental health. As psychedelics are being more accepted in society , it’s time to end the negative label behind them as “bad drugs”. I am a Toronto based, 10+ year Graphic Design veteran trying to help awaken those who are ready to reach their highest potential. This NFT collection is a representation of my experience with psychedelics. My most recent journey took me to Tulum, Mexico, where I experienced possibly one of the most powerful psychedelic, 5MEO-DMT. I was inspired to bring a message to the masses, that psychedelics are more like plant medicine that can help clear blocked emotions and trauma, allowing us to realize our full potential. Since the DMT was derived from Bufo Alvarius (also known as the Colorado River Toad), I decided to use the toad as the avatar to bring the message. I wanted to stray away from the classic NFT humanoid projects that are in abundance in the marketplace and just focus on my own creative expression. 

Each background colour and design represents an emotional lesson I learned or was reminded of while using psychedelics. The world is in need of healing. We can save the planet by healing ourselves. Sometimes we need help, and psychedelics can definitely help.
